Up for sale, a 1978 Star Wars Death Squad Commander, mint on the original 20E cardback. This figure features the infamous rocket firing Boba Fett offer on the cardback, with an innocent sticker advertising Boba as a "fearsome interplanetary bounty hunter" covering up the original rocket firing advert.
Only known as the "Death Squad Commander" through the very first ESB cardbacks, the figures was later renamed the more parent-friendly Star Destroyer Commander. The card has bright colors, and the figure has excellent paint with no frosting of the limbs or paint rubs from the edges of the bubble. The bubble itself is perfectly clear with a small crunch at the stem below the footer and a crack on the upper right third. All edges are still firmly factory sealed with the telltale "waffle" pattern on the parameter. The cardback is bright and glossy, with no price sticker wear.A crease runs diagonally across the card, with more modest veining up near the punch and along the bubbles parameter, mostly on the back. There is also some upward curvature on the top half of the card. Items are packed by collectors and for collectors, and we take great care with protecting all paper items and accessories.
