1978 Star Wars Han Solo Vintage Kenner Action Figure MOC, Small Head, 12 Back A
Up for sale, a 1978 Star Wars Han Solo, mint on the original 12 Back A card. The very first carded iteration of everyone's favorite spice runner and Rebel hero, the 12 Back A card was the first of four primary 12 back versions and an extremely nice example. It's a particularly lovely card, and it sits very flat with only one tiny vein parallel with the top edge of the bubble on the back. There is very faint edge wear, on the lower edge in particular, and a couple tiny shallow marks on the back on the card over the display stand graphic. The original price sticker is fully intact on the face of the card too.
The bubble is extremely clean with no yellowing, and the bubble also has the distinctive waffle pattern on the seal. There is a very light vaguely C shaped line of wear on the right side of the bubble. Not a crack, not a dent, just very minor stress on the plastic.
The original tape for the blaster is present inside the bubble, yet the blaster itself has come loose and is below the footer in the bubble stem. The figure is the "Small Head" iteration of Han (phased out by the 12 Back C card variation with a different head sculpt), and one of the more notable variations in the original Kenner line. This 12 Back A Han Solo is an AFA-worthy example of one of the most valuable figures in Kenner's vintage Star Wars line.
